How DERLink™ Supports FAA Certification Projects

DERLink™ connects FAA-authorized engineers with certification efforts that need technical approvals across avionics, structures, flammability, systems, software, and more.

We help clients close gaps in their substantiation packages and help DERs receive well-matched projects that align with their scope and availability. Everything is delivered cleanly, professionally, and without added complexity.

  1. Submit Your Project Scope
Share your intended installation, aircraft model(s), and what type of FAA approval you’re working toward. If you’re unsure which disciplines are needed, we’ll help clarify.

  2. We connect you with the right DER(s)
Using your scope and timeline, we identify available DERs in our network with the right qualifications. Each DER operates independently and quotes their own rate.

  3. Receive FAA-compliant approvals
You’ll receive signed FAA approvals, technical reports, or analysis directly from the DERs. We support delivery and communication in the background so you get exactly what you need—with less effort and fewer delays.

How It Works for Clients

  1. We reach out when a project matches your FAA authorization
When a client request falls within your scope, we send a short summary for your review.

  2. You decide whether to accept
You quote your rate, availability, and terms. If it’s a fit, we’ll confirm and move forward. If not, we’ll circle back when something better aligns.

  3. You stay focused on the work
You review, validate, and issue FAA approvals directly—on your terms. We assist with client questions, file exchange, and any coordination that helps you work more efficiently.

How It Works for DERs

Our Role Behind the Scenes

DERLink™ is operated by AvioDesign to serve both clients and FAA DERs. We don’t manage engineers or claim project ownership. We exist to make it easier for both sides to connect, collaborate, and complete FAA-compliant deliverables—without delays or unnecessary complexity.
